More than Just a Counting Program

Bean Counting is more than a simple barcode counting program. This all-inclusive system includes tools to print organizing slips, a scanning team quick start guide, POS system integration tools, and a remote training session by Perceptus to enable you to begin doing in-house inventory scans quickly and cost effectively.

Our software features on-screen running totals, browsing and correcting of previous scans, cross-counting for accuracy, optional quantity prompts, SKU verification, and many other options to fit your business requirements.

As mentioned, the Bean Counting System also includes our end-user guide for those who will conduct the actual scan, free program updates for a year, phone support, and training to get you up and running.

Some Details

• Hardware support

  The Portable Terminal portion of the Bean Counting system runs on Metrologic ScanPal2 ¹, CipherLab CPT-711 ¹, and Handyscan 2000 ¹ portable data collection devices. These are available online and from many technology suppliers. The Desktop portion requires a PC with a serial or USB port and Windows 2000 or XP.
  
  If you are interested in running Bean Counting on other portable devices, please contact us to discuss porting of the applications.

• Software Integration

  Bean Counting can work hand-in-hand with almost any point of sales system to keep your on hand inventory levels in your computer system accurate. If your POS software can import physical inventory counts from external text files, integration is simple and direct. Alternatively, you can generate variance reports within the Desktop Bean Counting application which can be entered manually into any POS system.
